Booked VFW hall for field day over a month ago, they didn't have a problem cashing the check. Nor did they give a damn about booking someone else in there, and screwing us . Thanks VFW 7901 you guys are the best!

Last July, three weeks beforehand, made arrangements with local (to him) VFW to provide honor guard for my Dad's Memorial Service, they confirmed, in writing.
9AM, day of Memorial Service at 1 PM, and via email, they backed out claiming a prior commitment.
They did send one dude for a weakass flag presentation ceremony, such as it was.
