After as much research as i could stand, I decided on a IWI Jericho 941 steel-frame .45 mid size. For those of you not familier with it, The Jericho 941 is the latest production version of the "baby eagle" (this has no relation to the desert eagle)

    The biggest selling points were:
    - light trigger in DA
    - Half-cocked hammer option
    - Price (paid $575 for it brand new) Compared to the ~$1000 SIG and HK guns i was looking at as contestents

    here's what it looks like

Shiloh's doing the FFL for me. I should get it on thursday...just in time for IDPA :smoker:

Shiloh won't let you shoot a .45 for fear it will knock a 4 foot gap in the backstop.

    True story.

Edit: Yes, this is a joke.

That's O.K., radioflyer. We all make mistakes sometime in our lives. I'm sur e the second .45 you buy will be a 1911.
