Great looking pistol...I am big on .45Autos, Had a few and still do, am on the .45 side of the 9mm vs. .45 never ending discussion, however swapped one to my Iraq Vet son for a brand new Taurus PT99.....

I know, we know what will put 'em down for the count but I just never had or fired one, enjoy your new pistol, I do mine....

    Range report:

Took it to the range today and got some time in before the IDPA meet. In standard target shooting, i could make 3" groupings at 7yds with virtually NO concentration. The weapon is just rediculously comfortable to shoot. Nearly all the recoil is absorbed by the weight of the gun. Granted it's not exactly comfortable to hold it on target for an extended period, but nobody buys a gun to point...lol

My only 2 concerns are that
    1) you have to slam the mag into the weapon to make sure it's locked in.
    2) the 10 round mag has a VERY strong spring making it difficult to load more than 7 rounds without cursing.

I'm almost certain both of these concerns will go away after the gun is broken in.
