I've been picking up brass at the local range when I'm out shooting even brass for calibers I don't shoot. Can I clean it up, sort it out and sell it? And by no means do I mean to sell it for the prices in stores I've seen, I mean like a couple bucks for a few dozen cases?????

To make shipping worth while, you should hold the brass until you get enough to fill a small flat rate box. USPS will let you ship the 4 x 6 x 1 box for about $4.50. That should hold about 100 typical rifle cases.

If you reload, trading for brass you need ( or may need in the future) is a very viable option. Post more specifics about what you have and what you need and you will likely find someone willing to trade.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I don't have a tumbler yet, but when I do get one I'll be cleaning up the brass I have, as I just started collecting it so it will be a while before I get enough to do anything with.

Heck for $4.50 for shipping and a couple bucks for the brass someone could get an excellent deal by just buying brass from people who don't use it because they don't have that caliber of gun.
