Are y'all talking about these stores? They're more like truckstops but with good food and good coffee. I've really seen more of them south of me in Victoria, Cuero, Yorktown, Goliad and a location in Schulenberg.

When I pass by, I stock up on Ghost Pepper Jerky and various hot sauces. Otherwise I snack on their candies and nuggets, and will definitely devour a brisket sandwich for lunch.

A staple of any long distance drive in this great state. In Luling they have particularly tasty jerky. I love the Garlic or Mesquite.

Yep. Didn’t realize they were out west, too. We usually stop at the one on Mustang Island when we’re down there.
