I am curious as to what you used to build your 6.5 creedmore, lower, upper, individual parts. Mostly, WHY you purchased those items. I am doing my usual over-study of the situation before I start my build. Info and suggestions appreciated.

PSA 6.5 CM upper, bought as a blem on special.
    PSA AR10 308 lower.

I actually wanted to build a 308, but the blem upper price was too good to be true.

I’m into this rifle for $450, plus glass.
It’s the top one in this pic:

These are literally the first (and so far only) 4 shots out of this rifle and scope, I just bolted the glass on and shot at 100 yards, no boresighting. Bed of my pickup, on a cooler, 20 degree weather.

First shot was left, walked the other three closer until I froze my ass off and called it a day.

I already have two AR10s so I just purchased what I needed to make a 6.5 Creedmore AR 10 upper. The Aero Upper had a high DPMS rail on the receiver. So I had to be sure to buy a handguard with a high DPMS rail so it would match up. The 2nd 6.5 Creedmore I built was with an MDT stock and the barreled action from a Ruger Raptor 6.5 Creedmore. Added a buffer Tube and a Luth AR MB3 stock and all was good. Topped it off with an Athlon 8x-36x 56.

Just got a couple ar10 lowers to make one into a 6.5cm. I'm looking into parts kits for the lower...I've seen full kits with buffer & stocks for $110 @ black rifle depot. I plan to get a complete upper. I've looked into PSA & a few others in that price range... $450ish. Just waiting on the toy fund to build back up.
