Ok here is what I have so far...

    1. The little black metal part
    2. The squiggly black part
    3. The angled little black part
    4. The little pin looking part
    5. The other little pin looking part.
    6. The part you put in the little hole.
    7. The spring looking thing you put in after that part
    8. The bigger springy looking part
    9. The medium springy looking part
    10. The hook looking part
    11. The spring that attaches to that part
    12. The part to make it go boom
    13. The black "L" looking part
    14. The kind of smallish spring
    15. The really huge spring
    16. The roundish metal part that fits in that spring
    17. The little part that buffers the other part
    18. The part that catches the other part
    19. The little pin for that part
    20. The part that catches the metal thing that the bullets go in.
    21. The spring for that part
    22. The button that holds that spring
    23. 2 more little springs
    24. 2 little teeny parts that are used with those 2 little springs
    25. The little black pin
    26. The part that your finger pulls to make the boom sound
    27. The spring for that part
    28. The plasticy looking part that you hold
    29. The screw for that part
    30. A little washer for that part
    31. A spring for that part
    32. A little black spring
    33. A little round piece of metal.
    34. A big metal part that all this stuff goes into
    35. A long hollow cylindrical part
    36. A little round screw looking part.
    37. A couple of plastic pieces that attach to that part.
    38. Another long round part but skinnier.
    39. A bunch of other stuff
    40. A little box looking thing for the pointed shiny things

You forgot that little washer that looks like a saw blade for the screw that goes to that plastic part you hold......

You forgot the most important part and that is that once you get it built you sent it to me for extended testing and evaluation. LOL!!!!

I think you forgot the do-hicky that holds the thing-a-ma-jig next to that other part. You know, the one with holes in it. I also didn't see that part that keeps it from going "boom-boom-boom-boom..." one after another.

LOL.. I felt the same way when I decided to try a AR build. But despite all the springs and things it's really not that difficult. Tolerances on AR's are so loose you could throw a cat though one, and they are very forgiving. I enjoyed the project, and it reminded me of my youth when I built models. (sadly, kids don't do that much any more) Take your time, and try and follow the many videos available to guide you. Oh, and buy extra springs and detests. They tend to fly away, and you won't find them until one day when you're walking bear food and a peice sticks you.

Did you get the biiiiig squared cornered spring? Looks to me like you won't get far with a single shot AR

    No chrome on this one.
I don't like shiny guns they are too easy to see at night.

I did order the dohicky and the thingamagig yesterday.

I also ordered the all important long tube looking thing.

    (building #4 btw)

Do I have to have "that part that keeps it from going "boom-boom-boom-boom"?
