All of what you quoted is for protection of persons, not property. If he was not justified the Grand Jury could easily indict.

Theft and Criminal Mischief are only justifiable if at night. Robbery has no such limitation.

Yep, because robbery involves violence against a person. Theft and criminal mischief are harmful, but not directly to someone's person.

Come on guys, if this ended with the shooter being on his property, or defending it (the auto)...thus then having to defend himself, he will win...the shooter. This is Texas, not California.

And, I doubt (I could be wrong) there will ever be a "court case"...
