    The FastFire II Waterproof Red Dot Reflex sight by Burris is the most
    versatile red dot sight on the market; it comes with a Picatinny mount,
    features a 4 MOA dot, and is compact and lightweight. The FastFire II
    offers unlimited eye relief, parallax-free 1x magnification, and simple

    The custom mounts that Burris offers for these red dots are truy fantastic. The Ruger Mark 1/2/3 fits conformally onto the receiver, highly recommended. Look for other pistols as well. They also make a good low power backup sight on a 45 degree angle mount next to a high power scope.
    People either love or hate 'em, I love 'em. The Fastfire III does not have to be removed for battery changes, but the FF II does. However the battery life is pretty long, since I have never had to change them, in months of shooting. Replacement means removing 2 screws and lifting the mount off, replacing the battery and screwing back on. I doubt you would lose your zero, since it aligns with the base.
    I would look at getting the protective wings, that is a u shaped guard that the sight sits inside of if you are rough on your firearms.

    do any of those mounts come with the sight? not sure what I would put it on right now.
