    Out here by the lake!
Lots of folks just don’t have the stomach to process a live animal into food. The smell of many animal are the first turn of. Most people don’t have a clue of how good fresh meat really is.

I'm not a chicken plucker no a chicken plucker's son.
But I'll pluck chickens til the chicken plucker comes.
(say that while holding the tip of your tongue).

    Baboon,

Yeah, smell often gets the squeamish when processing an animal.

The only time my wife helped me skin/gut/butcher a feral hog I killed she had to really work at not barfing. At times, she'd walk away and do a few 'dry' heaves. To her credit she maintained...

You can stick with carrots and kale, but for food, MEAT is what you want.

The 'Road Less Traveled' to what you want to eat is rocky for some...weenies.

Yep. Quicker, easier, more reliable to just use a piece of rebar to broomstick them.

The contraptions sold don’t seem to work uniformly across various rabbit size.
We used 12" long 3/4 metal pipe with a 90 elbow in it. Hold them by the scruff at the bottom of the neck. Swing down across your hand striking the top of the neck/bottom of the head and try not hitting your thumb. One strong whack does the job. Kills them real quick and clean. Not much better than fresh rabbit cacciatore.

I’ve done similar. Broomsticking is the easy button.
