What the heck kind of BS is this?

"The 100 acres of the National Butterfly Center, one of the biggest eco-tourism attractions in South Texas, is closed this weekend due to what officials call “credible threats” from hundreds of politicians and conservatives who are expected to come to the Rio Grande Valley for a border rally and tour starting Friday."

The last thing any one has to worry about is conservatives. Not many (if ANY) examples of destruction from a gathering of conservatives. What load of crap from "Sandra Sanchez."

I expect the butterfly folks are over-reacting to the situation. BUT I expect they have gotten threats due to their opposition to having some of their land condemned by the federal govt for the border fence. No diffferent than any private landowner who doesn’t want the govt taking their land, They fence would divide their nature preserve. BTW, It’s a visitor/education center, not a ranch.
So the argument is about which is more important - taking private land by the govt or building a border fence.
