Y'know, the more I hear about PP, the less I like 'em. I've been with 'em for 10 years now, and it's time to tell 'em to hit the road.....wonder how they're gonna like the "you're fired!!" letter I'm fixin' ta draft to 'em......

An' here's what I sent 'em - been w/'em about 10 years, and I doubt they'll miss me, but....

If you look back at my account history, I've been w/PP for many, many years. Over time, your fee hikes made it less attractive to use. What is the final straw is your anti-gun stance with regards to ANY firearm transaction going through your service. This may come as a shock to your company, but gun ownership is STILL legal in this country, and I find it rediculous that I can use your service to purchase any number of pornographic materials, yet buying ANYTHING related to a firearm will get my account closed. I hung in hoping your foolish policy would change, but it obviously won't - so cancel this account. As a military vet, there's nothing worse than to see US companies discriminate against those of us exercising our Constitutional rights - but you have the right to do so, and I have the right to cease doing business with YOU.
    Goodbye!

I have bought a lot of guns on Gunbroker over the years and I have never had any problems. If you use the same common sense you would use in buying something on Ebay, you will be fine. Check out their feedback. I also try my best to buy from someone who takes credit cards even if they charge an extra 2-3%. My credit cards offer me some protection from fraudulent sellers.

I've bought and sold firearms online without any problems. It's always important to have verbal contact w/ the buyer/seller, meaning get as much information as you can.

Have bought enough, well never enough, to know that communication is the key.

The roughest GB transaction was a mix of faults. I placed my bid on the rifle while out of the country. Came home, won the auction the day I had to evac for Ike. Sent seller multiple emails from multiple accounts to make sure he got them. 12 days later I was able to send him the money. Then he had to hold the rifle for 2 weeks while I found an FFL that was open that could receive it then another 2 weeks for UPS to reopen.

All went well and the seller understood.

Moral - don't win the bid during a hurricane.
