Budweiser select always gave me a headache for some reason. Not a hangover headache, just pretty much when I started drinking it.

It's the horse piss in it. I drink craft beers these days since it became about quality over quantity.

It's supposed to be about gettin drunk.

If that is your goal, a 8-10 ABV craft brew will get you there with maybe 3-4 beers. Bud Lite, an 12 or 18 pack would be about the same, but it's like drinking slightly flavored club soda. If that's what you like, that's fine. Current sentiment seems to be leaning towards drinking less, but drinking better beers. BTW, I am a beer snob and proud of it. ;)

While craft beer may seem to be all the rage these days, the number of people cracking open a cold one has actually been on the decline.

Really though? Or is it that more people are choosing a good tasting beer and maybe more people are home brewing? As you can notice, all the ones on the list of declining sales are piss water.

We still get those kind when we need a pack for the beer brats.

I gotta disagree a little bit with the drinking less, but totally agree with drinking better :D

We've gotten more into the regional/craft beers too.

Wow it's like saying 'bye to some old friends! Used to slam down a lot of Michelob and Michelob Light in the early 80's. When I was broke (which was often back then) I drank a lot of "Old Mil" in the cans and the quart bottles.

Yeah, but curb-crawling drunk is not in my wheel-house these days. A few good high ABV beers and I'm good for the night. If I'm home, maybe three, and if I want to chase Paula around a bit maybe four. (she runs slow)

Back in the day, almost every respectable bar had a poster of a B-52 Bomber busting balls to escape the nuclear fire ball it had unleashed.

    The caption said "Miller Time."

To this day, I drink Miller High Life.

Most of my posts are written at "Miller Time."

I'll never be above drinking Coors Light or Miller. I prefer craft beers, but craft beers can't quench your thirst like Coors.

But all of that doesn't really matter; I prefer bourbon.
