    He may not face “criminal” charges.

    But pro bono lawyers will take the case for the perp’s family, and sue the shit out of the store owner in civil court for wrongful death.

    It happens with most shootings in CA...even if vindicated, the cost of defending yourself in court will ruin you financially.

    Is it wrong that I would be so willing to believe that some court in California would charge a person with intent to poison with lead, in a shooting situation?

    Why, two of those poor misguided souls (who were merely trying to ensure that unnecessary and excessive capitalist wealth was redistributed) died after ingesting lead supplied by the store owner.
