ATF shows 13 type 1 FFLs with a San Jose address so to my way of thinking, the city coucil said to them *F'off - we don't want you or the tax dollars you generate here*. Mean while, San Jose residents don't have to drive far at all to avoid the sheer stupidity of another pointless law.

What? You mean they forgot to tack on $1.00 for each ammo/firearms transaction to go towards slavery reparations? They should all be recalled for failing to carry out their socialist duties.

In the grand scheme of life, this means what to, or for Texas?
Why are you asking that? Seriously, are you asking because you believe that only issues concerning Texas should be talked about in these forums? Or is it maybe because you think violations of the 2nd Amendment and of a person's liberty to exercise that right elsewhere have no potential of a ripple effect on Texans?

The truth is, when you let leftist liberal democrats get away with snuffing out the RKBA, or the liberty to exercise it, elsewhere, you can bet that liberal politicians here, there & everywhere will be emboldened by that and try likewise sooner or later. That goes for where the stars are big & bright deep in the heart of TX just as well as it does anywhere. Allowing the libturds to erode our rights, and our liberties to exercise those rights, anywhere has the potential of affecting us badly in the future even when we were remote from where it started. We, as gun owners - whether in TX, AZ, AK, MO, CA or NY (to name a few) should be standing side by side in the fight against infringement of our right to keep & bear arms. Unity and supporting gun owners (and even non-gun owners who support the 2nd) across the nation - not turning up our noses at our brothers in arms - is the way to support & assure continuation of our liberties to exercise the RKBA.

Oh wow, sorry. I didn't realize only things about Texas could be posted in this section. I read the rules and didn't see anything that said it had to be about Texas.

I just thought it was an interesting and somewhat amusing topic.

So, is that really a rule that it has to be about Texas ?

    Not where you are
Do you know the way to SanJose?

Not that it matters I wouldnt go there if you were paying for it.

Yes it does indirectly effect TX what happens in lefty land called CA.

Most weird shit starts there and some how some way sooner or later finds its way everywhere.

Remember cars that had CA Emissions now WE all do.

    Just a small example.

    As mentioned above by others.

My main point is, anyone that has had their head out of the sand for last couple of decades, knows that California is a totally screwed up state for gun laws. Rather obvious. It's not exactly new news to most of us.

California has slid so far off the cliff towards socialism that I seriously doubt there is any chance of them returning to some sense of right. It's been happening for decades. California is pretty much a lost cause.

But hey, lets beat the dead horse some more! And @mavs, calling me a liberal, that's some funny shit right there! You might want to change careers to being a comedian.

I don't know who was beating a dead horse. I was merely posting a headline that I found to be interesting for anyone who might want to comment. I didn't know posts on here had to be about Texas until you said so. But, I read the rules again and it does not say that.

And exactly where did I say that? Hmm...simple I didn't. I merely asked a question, and was pointing out an obvious point about California. You're the one that seemed to get butthurt over me asking a simple question. They do make a salve for that!
