    Bullshit
I had written a response from the point of view of having grownup in California. of returning after military service (My first duty station was in northern Cali.) to find I was no longer befuddled by California attitudes. The cool-aide wore off. I met people from everywhere while serving and they were for the most part all good people. Flyover country is a great place. Of returning again to care for my Mom, She was an Okie that adored southern Cali. A California conservative lover of Reagan. It was about all we agreed on. She had been reduced to living in the fringe desert areas but still in LA county. The place is Draconian. Where unhappy drones turn in their neighbors to the police for lawn watering. Anywhere can produce a few standouts, but for the most part Californians live to overwhelmingly vote in straight up socialist and commie rock stars. They have come to enjoy being pounded by the state. There will always be pockets of good people but overall California and their people suck. The first time I wrote this it was nicer now its my honest truth. I cared for Mom, settled her estate and hauled ass for Texas. Now I have to watch Texas turn blue by people that can't be bothered to upset others

California Conservatives, oxymoron of the century

I strand by my OP and my California experience.
When Texas is blue you can take your crawfish and put em where the son don't shine

Next time I go back for a visit from where I'm from, I'll be sure to let all my fake conservative friends know that they don't exist.

Isn't that about like saying the large cities in Texas are where the majority of conservatives are?

    Hey, 45Tex

Im a CA native, and am 100% conservative. I have a few friends that are too. Many have left. Some are still trying.

I used to say CA #1 export was conservatives. Having moved here 2.5 years ago I have come to realize, unfortunately the socialists are escaping too.

I understand you have your experiences in life. Go ahead and tell us how you feel. But just know your ignorance is showing.

It's pretty much the same across the country, the big cities are mainly liberal and outside the cities are mainly conservative. Not everyone can up and move due to politics of a state. To claim they are less conservative because they haven't up and moved from their roots is a claim against conservativeness.

It helps to be an Air Force brat that got dumped in Los Angeles. My Dad was stationed at Lookout Mountain Air Station, when he passed away in 1964. We moved back to Texas but it snowed that winter. Mom packed us up and went back to LA within a mile of where we lived before.
