This took place in Contra Costa County so not in the SF Co DA's jurisdiction.

Typhus will become rampant once again.
A medieval disease that existed on the streets of London due to poor sanitary conditions. How much California has regressed...

Simple.....it's news because of all the things that the state of CA or specific cities in CA are no longer prosecuting, ALL of which far exceed the ramifications of somebody eating a fucking sausage biscuit.

Just spotlights the ridiculousness is all.

He did tell the guy to stop eating. When the officer came back he was still doing it. Then the guy started a disturbance on the platform and acting like a jackass so the officer arrested him. I just don't understand the issue. The laws are in place so follow the law. It make no difference how silly you think it is.

Which means what exactly? You don't follow the law? Move somewhere else.

The law was likely put in place due to people leaving food to rot on the trains causing health issues.

As ironic as that is given other issues with CA, it’s not hard to see where the issues would come from. I don’t think it qualifies as being a slave by not being able to eat on public transit.
