YES, they can and they will, if those of us who consider liberty and individual responsibility don't stand together

Planning on moving down there ASAP, and applied for a position TODAY that would allow for it. I have noticed in Internet-talk and Youtube videos that even lefties are flocking there too, escaping exactly what history shows they create and always do, when they go screw up ANOTHER state.

(Don't worry about my and my family, I will never vote for the Communist party [D] for the rest of my life, and don't think I ever have, even before I noticed how bad they are. We are some of the biggest firearm enthusiasts, hell, I even reload everything I can.)

As usual, they will vote for the same party, with no second thought, which will eventually have enough votes (fraud or not) to let politicians do whatever they want, and possibly "rule over their subjects" (exempting themselves, usually), creating laws that make no since, just like NJ, NY, Crook County IL, WA, and CA too.

    What can really be done?
Talking to lefties doesn't help, they want to rule your life, every aspect...

Well this ex Californian here will never vote D again and I actually helped converted some native Texans who actually voted D to now vote R.

You came here from there because you didn’t like there. Now you want to change here to be like there. Most of us came here because it is not like there. You are welcome here, but please stop trying to make here like there. If you want here to be like there you should not have left there to come here. You are invited to leave here and go back there at your earliest convenience.

So true. When I came here I wanted to be like Texans and adopt their standards of living.

I am planning on moving to your state because of Democrats screwing up Cali (just like every state they screw over, and all the people within, like single mother's right to defend their children).

I do not want to change crap, I think I already stated this, your state is so appealing because they haven't screwed it up...
What has voting for libertarians ever got you, besides a feeling of moral superiority?

that’s like going to McDonald’s and ordering a steak.
I can't vote for a Libertarian, as they have no chance of winning, Democrats get elected this way, and try to stomp on free people, and tax the middle class the most, to "correct for history". Dems create laws where people generally never get changed back to logical outcomes.

The only time I ever voted for a non-Republican Pres. was Perot, and all I got out of THAT was Clinton's AWB, which luckily had a sunset clause. I admit that I was young, and dumb, but then saw the ramifications of voting for a 3rd party that has no chance of winning in "first past the post" elections, which was the AWB.

Houston was overtaken by the Michigan exodus
I remember the billboards reading "...would the last person out of Michigan please turn out the lights." They didn't like Texas then and they still don''t. Houston is a perfect example. Cali is doing the same.
Back in the early 1980s I worked at the Monkey Ward auto center in Dallas. I saw so many blue tags that I thought Texas had issued new colored tags.
The 'blue-taggers' were people from Michigan that were here for jobs.

They brought their rusty pieces of $h!t that all needed mufflers to pass inspection.

NOBODY wanted to work under those cars. I thought I should get a tetanus shot.

Hey-now, just because I am from Commiefornia, doesn't mean I am one of "those-people"...

Not all of us are... pinko-sympathizers, in any way.

Hell, I think I was a Texan, just Born in Cali, I just didn't know it until I grew up.
    :D

There are two kinds of Texans. Those who were born here, and those who got here as fast as they could!

When I left the USCG in San Diego and moved to NE OR, I wanted to be just like the locals. It used to be almost all Timber/Ag here. I didn't want to work in those jobs, but most of my customers at the 2-way radio shop were in that line of work. The rest were LEOs and First Responders. I've been here 40+yrs now and pretty much feel like a local.

Anyone from another state that wants to move here, live like a Texan, adopts our Texas style lifestyles, culture, our heritage and our values, I will welcome with a smile, and big howdy.

But those that want to bring their liberal, socialist, or communist ways of thinking, and wanting to change what made, and what makes Texas a great state, well, I can't stop them from coming, but I damn sure ain't going to make them feel welcome and would highly suggest that they go to another state with their nonsense.

I test out (some informal test I don't remember) as a small "l" libertarian ideologically. I checked into the Libertarian Party and it just didn't suit me... it seems to be more nutcase than libertarian IMO.

I'm also one that voted for Perot... that sucked and I learned the hard way to keep voting for Rs, no matter how bad the candidate. Now I just wish the Repub party would get it's act together behind Trump or Trump candidates and knock off the good ol boy politics. They prefer being on the bottom, it's easier, they can claim they can't do anything, meanwhile the $$$ keeps rolling in...

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?

(answered in a Freudian German accent)
ONLY ONE! But the light bulb must WANT to change!

Q: How many Californians does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Six. One to turn the bulb, one for support, and four
    to relate to the experience.

Q: How many Oregonians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Five. One to change the bulb, and four more to chase off the
Californians who have come up to relate to the experience.

BTW, my Ma in Santa Maria says that about half the time the lights are off down there anyway. Kinda like Biden's brain. (she didn't say the last, she's a D. She sure as hell don't like Gav Newsom tho!!)

I had a few good people clue me in also. A few people I met in a small town, but mostly my new bozz... he was a Marine that had packed horses, hunted, and lived here quite awhile.
