Can I have a few suggestions for a radio controlled device to sweep sparrows off of my Bluebird house?
I’m hoping to get a small RC device (servo?) that can sweep a 5” arm in a 90 to 360 degree arc to knock the damned sparrows off of the front of the house.
Ideally a small kid sized toy altered or dismantled for the purpose.
From my recliner I have a good view of the house and am only about 25’ from it so I hope range will not be a problem.
English Sparrows compete with Bluebirds for cavity nests. They are an invasive species here and can be killed whenever and however you like.
I’ve sat outside with a pellet gun but they are too wary to come into the yard, they’ve probably heard of my prowess shooting birds.
    Thanks in advance.

If you want a fun project and like to do a little coding, you can make one with an ESP8266 and a solenoid or a servo.
You can get them for as little as $5 each or even less if you buy a 5-pack (I've bought 25 of them and use some to control my PIxel Christmas lights along with a Raspberry Pi)
    Here's a link to a 5-pack of them for $14.99: Amazon product ASIN B08ZY7Q7TW

ESP8266 ? Might has well asked to implement a magic spell. I get you, a pi, and 8266 is a simple solution, but to the general public you are speaking Swahili.
The pellet gun coupled with the proper camouflage sounds more probable.

A one button fob on my end tab would be ideal.

That other stuff leaves me cold. Where do the batteries go?
Does that little coil thing spin around and around?

I only want to attach two wires to a battery.

It's just a switch. The coil of wire is the antenna for the receiver.

This diagram shows how you could hook it up to a little motor or something else.

train a neural net to control the firing system and recognize sparrows, pooping dogs, and other species you'd like to discourage set it and forget it!

Lots of traps for sale and "do-it-yourself" plans on the internet.
Going to take my Martin houses down for the season and trap the bastards.
They also destroyed all the immature plums on the plum tree last year.

So, you are going to need something like a small motor, on the top of the birdhouse, that spins something like trimmer string or wire attached to the shaft. The motor will obviously need to be powered, AC if you have power relatively close, DC if AC is not available.

If AC, this remote would work great, just run a cord from the motor to where this is plugged into your AC. A motor out of a small desktop fan, a microwave, or similar would work.

I use them to control lights... one remote can control multiple receptacles.

If DC, you'll need a battery (at ground level so you could recharge it) to run the motor cord to. A Dewalt 20v, or other, tool battery would work. Here is a receptacle for a Dewalt battery and a remote that would work to control power to the motor. A motor out of an old battery tool would work, but you would need to fashion a housing to make it somewhat water resistant and for mounting, maybe from a plastic container or can.

Then, there's the pellet gun idea...

I had a Martin house and couldn’t shoot them.

It was funny as hell watching them line up to take the elevator down to the cage.

Get some millet for bait. I would keep some water in a cup in the trap. That tends to attract them too.

Keep an eye though. I had to extract a mockingbird out once.

I would recommend terminating them upon capture. Relocating is no good.
