No difference at all between the two. Nickle plated brass seems to resize easier. I believe the plating is to make the brass slicker, and it works. On a side note, I had some 357 magnum nickle plated brass that got loose primer pockets very early. After a couple loadings, the primers would just fall right out. I don't remember the brand.

Nickel plated brass is fine to reload. Some will tell you it splits at the neck sooner than brass but I haven't experienced that. It's ideal for storing shells in leather because brass will corrode when left in a shell belt for a long time.

No difference in re-loading to me. The nickel finish in straight wall carttridges seems to resize a lot smoother to me in a carbide die. I have never had any problems with the Nickel finish. Just load em' ..shoot em' and have fun.

Do not listen to them!!!!! Nickle cases are inherently unsafe. You should send them to me (regarless of caliber) and I will dispose of them properly by loading them up repeatedly until they crack (5-7 loadings) and tossing them in my recycle bucket.
