    I've always looked it at it this simple analogy:

    A middleweight boxer is going to hit you faster than a heavyweight, but the heavyweight is going hurt more.

    Makes sense to me anyway :)

    I split the difference and carry 124gr Win PDX in my 9mm.

    BTW...you didn't figure in the barrel length and weather or not the round will achieve it's maximum potential.
    That's why there's special ammo designed for short barrels. Brand "x" bullet might perform best in weapon "A", but suck in your pistol.
