I found these in the desert and would like to know what they are, so I can get some for SD. Anyone got a clue ? They look to be .45 cal.

Hate to get hit with one of those bad boy's !

  2. I'm thinking PMC Starfires.

I use them in my Commander, they expand like that and shed their lead core.

To me it looks like a Barnes that was shot into a steel plate, and just completely flattened out. I dunno though... just my :2cents:.

    Name that bullet...

My guess...a solid copper bullet in 45 acp from Taurus. They make 180 grain pure copper HPs. Otherwise, I could not imagine that any jacketed bullet would fully separate from its core so cleanly.:mad0079:

I'd say it's a Corbon of some kind.
Corbon hollow points are all copper. And would look like that when spent.

I vote for Barnes, it just looks like a solid copper to me.

maybe. Seems like there are more "star points," though.
