How many shots did it take? What was the drop?

    Drop would be around 812'

Trajectory would peak at about 2250 yards with the bullet about 325' above LoS.

Would hit with about 1300 ft/lbs of energy.

    Subsonic around 2300 meters.

    ~8.5 seconds of flight time

Based on ballistics of 750gr Hornady Amax. Differences would cause a lot of variation from these numbers at that distance. VLD bore riders would probably give much better numbers.

Isn't that like shooting at an ant from 100m away?
A lot tougher. Benchresters routinely center-punch any fly stupid enough to land on the sighter part of their target. Most of them could hit an ant.

Stretch out to ranges where the rotation of the earth must be taken into account and things get a good deal more complicated.

Thanks for posting the technical info. I was wondering what the hold over would be. About an 80 story building? Is that right?
