Picked up a new toy. I'm going to install a Holosun 507K green soon. Can't wait to get the range this weekend.

Looks slick. New version of tp9 or totally different gun ?
Canik listens to their customers and improves on the design. There are many changes to the new Mete guns such as deeper picatinny rails, a more rounded beaver tail, trigger guard changes for a closer grip to the bore axis, you can add an optic and keep the rear iron sight, slide release doesn't stick out as far as well as the mag release button, and so on....

Would love a range report comparing the TP to the Mete.

The TP9 I had had a great trigger.

I've doing everything not to buy this version of CANIK. They're so good though.
RIGHT? I feel exactly the same. I have CC'ed the TP9SF Elite for over 3 years now, and I am extremely proficient with it. But I know that if I pick up the METE, it's going to replace the Elite and it's a whole new thing to get used to.

These CANIK's are the best and honestly have kicked my Glocks to the back of the safe.

100%. I have said on this forum for 4 years now that there is no better stock trigger on a striker fired gun than Canik. PERIOD. I've fired a shit ton of pistols and I know this to be true.

I don't CC a Canik because I'm way too small, but if Canik ever did make a single subcompact 9mm I'd be the first to buy it.

    I have a TP9SF (favorite pistol) A TP9SF elite and a Canik S120.

I'm rather a small person also. I typically carry a Sig P365, but since the Canik SFT comes with a holster, how could I resist not carrying it sometimes!

Just picked up one like that last week. I was looking for a loaner for my classes and wanted something that was ambi for the lefties I get sometimes. I was really impressed with the Canik and yea, that trigger break/reset is tight - very nice for such an inexpensive pistol. ...and the cool little collection of accessories was sorta fun too. Hope the OP has a good time with his!

Had the opportunity to try one when I was up at Sig last month. Trigger was decent, might have still needed some break-in, and the grip felt good but, for me, the angle was just a bit off. I just couldn't get off a comfortable shot. Seemed to cycle a lot better than the guns I had tried previously. I liked a lot of the features it had on this series, just ain't for me.

Hope you enjoy it OP, and hope it works for you for a long time to come.
