    Hey all,

Im having some problems with my bolt catch, as its pretty wobbly and if I hold my AR15 tilting the bolt catch side to the ground, the bolt will lock to the rear etc. It is still slightly springy, however not how it should be.

Anyways, I just removed the bolt catch, but the buffer and spring wont come out. THe rounded part of the buffer spring is sticking out about 4mm probably, and still has spring if i push it in etc, but it will not come out for me to inspect and replace. Ive read up and don't seem to be doing anything wrong?

Does anyone have any ideas ?

finally did it, ive been trying since I posted. I had to pull them out like you said but as you can tell it has taken lots of time. The spring doesnt seem deformed. I have the new parts, and they also fit pretty snug so it seems like the hole is kinda small. Do you think i should just sand down the bolt catch buffer a little?
