Put a gambrel (barn type) on it and have a lot more space, maybe a poker room up there ! Heh!

Way easier to just put a sloped roof over it. Slope it front to back and run 2xs straight across the containers. Block between them and screw your metal right to them.

Depending on where you are, Crowe Company in Milano will sell you the trusses pre-made and everything else and deliver.

I can't figure out in my head how that would look in the front
That way would cost less for sure

Just think of a normal range shooting cover setting on the boxes. Would just look straight across the front.

I just wasn't sure if you wanted the fancy truss look like your picture.

You could skip the second box and just use a beam and posts too. Probably cheaper.

If you are thinking wood material costs jump when you get over 16' too.

I need the 2nd container for more storage , so I'm getting it for sure
I will go steel all the way , no wood

I could build up the front height by 24 inches and run big purlin length way towards the rear
That would shed water fast and hold up to a freak snow storm also
