So if I have a CHL in Tx, I can carry either concealed or
Open in NM. Right or wrong? I know this doesn't pertain
to TX but I hoped someone here would know. Am traveling
to NM for 3 days and want to stay on the right side of the law

Seems like the oc had some changes lately in NM.
Better hit a state website for the latest.

Unlicensed open or concealed carry. Your CHL is good although it hardly matters.

Some areas are off limits which aren't here and don't need specific 30.06 type language to be enforceable. Try an NM gun site and ask there; it's what I did.

Can't carry on Indian land either. With them being here and there it makes it interesting.
