What's the best way to do so? Coyote trap? I unfortunately live in a place where people somehow feel its appropriate to just drop off dogs and let them live in the wild. Well, they seem to be attracted to my house as we run a catering business out of it. Feral dogs continuously terrorize my dogs and try to attack our chickens and such. Just tonight they got a hold of my bunny :(

So what's the best way to trap em? Thanks

Was thinking exactly what everyone else was before I clicked.

As an alternative you can setup a snare or a trap, but what are you going to do after you catch them? Do you know how to handle a hungry feral dog without getting bit? If you take it to a shelter they'll probably put it to sleep anyway.

Oh I was planning on shooting them once trapped. I unfortunately can't use a high power rifle where I live as I do have neighbors somewhat close, so I gotta stick with the .22 and headshots.

You live in the country just frag them. You catch them and county animal control comes and gets them and three days later they are euthanized.

I had a problem with feral cats. I would trap them in a trap provided to me by animal control and bring em in. They were releasing the cats because I had the same cat multiple times. You can throw the trap in water (cat and all), or shoot them in the head with a gamo pellet gun. I am sure the .22 will work fine on dogs, especially if you trap them first.
