cci truncated cone???

Just wondering if anyone knows if cci ever really made a truncated hollow point with around 32 grains in the 1400fps area? I saw and ad on gunbroker.Thanks

Sounds like the old CCI Mini-Mag +V load. I had a stash of some back in California at my mom's place. It's the very "favorite" loading for my Marlin 881 and would regularly go into dime-sized groups at 50 with no problems. Lethal as heck on ground squirrels and other small game.
