I work with CCPD officers every weekend, am friends with many. I finally learned today the announced policy regarding OC. Officers WILL NOT be making contact and asking for licenses for a person simply because of OC. They need an additional RS or PC to make contact

Suzie Soccer Mom complaining is not enough.

While I'm glad to hear they won't be wasting our time I know it's not because of the reason given. PC is easily found in 46.02.

it took me a second to figure out what the title meant.
I thought CCPD was an ailment at first glance.
    ;)

then I figured it could be
    Carney City
    Carl's Corner
    Cedar Creek
    Clarksville City
    Clutch City
    Coffee City
    Colorado City
    Copper Canyon
    Copperas Cove
    Corral City
    Cotton Center
    Crystal City
    or
    Corpus Christi

I'm sorry, you'll have to clarify. What does that mean? The Chief told the troops that OC in and of itself will not be used for stops. What part of that don't you believe.

How will this mesh with the new security policy at city hall? Have to go through a metal detector there now. County was also on record on KRIS saying they will be banning OC from all govt buildings. I think there will still be issues well after Jan 1. Especially with city hall, unless it's manned by CCPD or another LEO license holders aren't required to show them ID.
