Maybe in the wrong thread but…. Has anybody had anything cerakoted? Anybody you’d recommend? Any reasons you would or wouldn’t have a gun done?

Yeah the company I saw had multiple
On display but all seemed to look good quality. Just didn’t know if there was a issue or not on durability

I've had several gun's and barrel's done over the years. Burnt Bronze and Black are my usual colors.

Yes. And since you're in Tomball, its not too far a drive - the guys at TX Arsenal in Pinehurst did good work for me, and the cost was very reasonable. I had them cut a slide for a direct mount optic, then cerakote it after. Turned out great. Will be using them again for similar services in the next couple months (after Christmas) to have one of my non-MOS Glocks cut for an optic.

Cerakote seals! No oil is needed for rust protection! I know this is aluminum but this works on all surfaces bone wood plastic. It won't stay on flexible material. It's great on old rusty guns that have no collector value but, shoot great!

Used to be a TGT member that did excellent cerekote work. Sent home some parts and they are still holding up after however many years it’s been.

But I was a while ago and I can’t remember his name. Johnny something? Maybe someone else knows.
