The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

btw: If it means anything. Some cities even teach about gun safety on their follow-up training.
Also forgot. This training is for free.

What the hell does a "Child-safe gun lock" have to do with "Community Emergency Response"?

It's for the children. C'mon, JK, get with the program.

Houston, Cy-Fair
From Shaun of the Dead:

[Shaun tries to get out of Philip's Jaguar]
Shaun: Philip, have you still got the child-locks on?
Philip: Safety first, Shaun.
