The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

btw: If it means anything. Some cities even teach about gun safety on their follow-up training.
Also forgot. This training is for free.

I have not been getting e-mails notifications. My settings are set to receive posts?

Anyway......The Child-safe gun lock was given out at a monthly meeting on gun safety. It's for menbers who have firearms.

Free training is great. The CERT I belong to, had first-aid/cpr certification....it was not Free. But it only cost $5.00.

Shaun of the Dead... that's a good one!
