Our family likes pasta, so we make a concerted effort to buy Newman's Own pasta sauce. From what I was told, they only take enough to cover operating expenses -- the rest goes to various charities around the country. It's not much, but every little bit helps I think.

We donate to a local children's home every now and then, and we usually always give to the bell ringers of the salvation army.

I don't have kids and I can't stand Marlo Thomas but I give to St. Judes childrens hospital a couple times a year and I support Folds of Honor to provide scholarships for the children of my brothers and sisters who gave all in the sandbox.

Fischer House. Money, and band has played several times for free on their patio at BAMC. I also pick up the tab when I see men/women in uniform where I go to lunch. Wounded Warriors as well.
