I used to be able to pick up 50 round boxes of them at the local Western Auto and even the little drive-in grocery in our little town. Those prices were about what I paid for them but that was 20 years ago. Both places also had a few boxes of shotgun shells for .410 and 12ga. The Western Auto always had several rifle calibers on the shelf. Usually .243, 30-30 and 30.06. Great memories.
Kicking myself for not stocking up on .22 when it was plentiful before the panic buying started again. It's my absolute favorite caliber to shoot.
There will be no shortage if we all stop panic buying/hoarding.
The prices will go back to normal if we all refuse to pay supply shortage prices.
