I heard they are opening a new retail store in Austin next month. Never been to the one in McKinney, but I heard it was OK.

It's ok if you like higher prices and a staff that ignores you, yeah...Lots of interesting guns on the walls. Good luck getting anyone to pull one down for you, though, and you'll pay more for it. I don't know what dirt they're cheaper than, but it must be some nice stuff.

Yep... After they jacked their prices and gauged their customers on everything, i will never give them a penny of mine.

And San Antonio is getting a new Dick's Sporting Goods. We aren't doing a good job of letting people know why they shouldn't do business with these turncoats and cowards.

It will be interesting to see how this venture works out for them. I know people here hate them and for good reason. But they do have a strong brand, and are the premier advertiser on some of the "Wednesday Night at the Range shows"

Back during the Y2K (year 2000 for those that can't relate) deal they cleaned up. My printing business did work for them at that time, and we printed some 20,000 shipping inserts every week. So, they that's the number of shipments they did. Of course that tapered after 2000+one second.

From what I've gathered since this morning the new store will be in La Frontera in R.R. Not that anyone here cares.
