Hey yall - thought you might want to check out our popular 5050 Flash Can + Barrel Shroud in raw aluminum. If you haven't seen our product before, this is a fully reversible combination muzzle device. Check out the cutaway below for a look inside:

We love the polished raw aluminum. They always sell out fast when we make some. This one is on my personal 10.5" 223. To learn more just click the link below:

Generally from what I have seen is flash cans direct the flash and noise forward. How effective they are varies from product to product. That why I want to see a 3rd party review and data. If not then it's just a metal tube

Ive seen pics of these a lot the last few years. Never actually seen one in person oddly. Can you explain to me.... what do they DO?

Hey Markbo - it's like your typical flash can by other well-known manufacturers who I won't mention - Rush always said not to discuss your competition :) - except this has barrel shroud on one side and is reversible.

People like them because they're good for noise reduction but the two-sided nature allows them to tuck into your AR or other carbine handguard for a smooth look.

Check out this cutaway image which I think does a good job of expressing the concept:

I assume it's like sticking V8 stickers on a V6 car. It's to mimic the look of a suppressor

Not entirely - flash cans/linear compensators are popular muzzle devices. Lots of manufacturers make them. I shouldn't mention my competition but there's lots of them.

Mine is unique because of its two-sided reversible nature, which I invented and no one else has replicated.

Do you have videos of it in use in the dark? Different calibers and barrel lengths?

There's a great little Reel on my instagram of someone shooting in low light with an 8" 556. I believe he runs adjustable gas

My instagram handle is @truemanufacturing - I can't link to reels through desktop so I can post a link later or you can check it out on your phone

I asked this question before on another thread by the OP, but never got an answer.
Sorry I missed that. This thread had lots of replies but TGT only notified me of two.

The flash can/linear compensator is just an alternative to the typical compensator. It directs sound and muzzle flash forward away from the shooter and his/her companions.

They are great if you don't have an over-gassed rifle. Way more pleasant to shoot than the typical compensator, which will just blow your ears clean off.

I realize Texas is the land of suppressors but recognize that in many states suppressors are hard or impossible to get so a device like this is helpful for sound mitigation.

I have a steel flashcan on my 18" AR which reduces sound the shooter hears especially when firing in "boxed stall" style ranges. Anything which helps my battered old ears is a plus..wear plugs and sonic headset as well.

I'm still waiting to find out what they do.

Haha man I get this sometimes which surprises me because flash cans and linear compensators are neither new nor novel.

They've been around forever and I'm hardly the first to make one. I can list probably 10 major well-known manufacturers who produce a similar device, except theirs don't double as a small barrel shroud as well.

Greg - there are reviews on google and youtube and at various forums. There are also 350+ 5-star reviews right on our product page.

People like them because they look good and reduce sound and concussion.

If you run an over-gassed rifle and you need a compensator to knock down recoil then this device isn't for you.

They're great on PCCs like the Stribog and Scorpion.

Re: data, what type of data would you be looking for?

Well, they may not "do" much and that's OK but I think they are a bit overpriced just for that. Just my opinion.

Charlie - I price them that way because at any given time there are at least 3 discount codes circulating the internet or in your inbox, so that gives me room to give people discounts without destroying my margin. I have a family to feed yknow ; )

If you look in my signature you'll see the code TGT15 which anyone here can use for 15% off, as many times as you'd like. That brings the price down to $38.25
