My GF's dad happens to enjoy crafting various wood projects. When he's asked me if there's anything I needed, he built a couple shelves. They came out great. Then onto some tissue box covers which also impressed. Now, my favorite thing so far...
A display box for a pistol. I sent him measurements based on the gun I had in mind. About a week later he dropped off this.
