Yo, just found the forum and wanted to be part of the talk. I'm currently livint in IN but also have a place in SA area and visit often. I'm getting ready to visit and wanted to get an insight on the reloading situation it sounds about the same everywhere. I hope to get my brother into reoading so I thought this would be a good place to start.

    Howdy!

I have avoided the local shops in SA like a plague.

Bass-Pro Shops are hit and miss: mostly miss.

Cabela's in Buda more often than not has primers, brass, and bullets.

In the last several months, I've found plenty of .224 bullets, small rifle primers, and powders to reload .223/5.56mm.

Matter of fact, the shortage has happily forced me to experiment with previously unknown powder/primer/bullet combinations.

I hear SA now has a Gander MT. Nonetheless, I'm planning to buy my brother a press and get him started. Worse case is he wount use it but I will when I'm home In SA

Thanks for the welcome...stay safe & loaded!

Welcome to Texas Gun Talk! My Grandfather was born in Indiana and I have two relatives who served in the 25th Indiana Infantry Regiment during the Civil War.

Welcome to TGT! I grew up on the west side of Indianapolis, but have lived in Anderson too. I used to go to a great church in Carmel and I still have many friends there.
