CHL friendly Credit Unions?

Are there any credit unions in Austin/Round Rock that don't post 30.06 signs? The drive through is good enough for me so I hardly ever go into my credit union, but I'd like to stop supporting it since they have 30.06 signs posted.

Randolph Brooks is ours, and I've never seen a 30.06 in their branches.

I don't think the local United Heritage ones do either. I've been banking with United Heritage since the days they were Bergstrom Credit Union and had one branch, and I don't have a single complaint at all.

My dad uses Randolph Brooks and he likes them.

I use Velocity Credit Union and Wells Fargo. I haven't seen any 30.06 signs in any of the branches I go to.

I just came across this thread and am a little confused. I was under the impression we could not carry in a banking institution regardless of a sign being posted or not. Am I incorrect?

There is no specific law aginst carrying inside a bank....unless posted with 30.06...ive been using wells fargo for a while and have not seen one posted yet when we go out of town or here in the valley...

How do you like them? I had thought about switching to them or maybe Heritage as I am very disappointed with the service from Wells Fargo lately.

Do what I did and legally open carry a long gun in there. I put the sling over my shoulder and walked on in. The sign came down that day.

Randolph Brooks has never turned me away for packing... The North Austin location has superior customer service... If you're opening an account ask for Sean and he will hook you up...
