Thanks for linking MMm. I ordered one, I'll put up picks when I get it. I have been wanting one, it's one of my missing links.

i want a Russian one too, but like previously stated, they just don't have them for any reasonably price, I could get an AK for the price of an SKS nowadays.

The one I had as a kid was a Norinco with a 30rd magazine (pre-ban). It was pretty clean, had some scars but nothing major. Shot straight, reliability within reason (got uppity when dirty), and fun as all get out. I'm tempted to get another one of these, but I'll wait.

I have too many SKSs as it is but still feel the need to dust off the old C&R and add a few more to the pile. At this price I'd be an idiot not to.

Thanks for the link. I check Classic's website regularly but would have missed this deal.

I do. One of the best, and one of the most accurate rifles (believe it or not) I've ever owned, and I've owned a few.
Nice. Thanks for the info dragunov and brains. I'll be looking for one at the gun shows. My friend at work is getting his FFL so I'll be buying a stripped lower first and then grab a Norinko SKS.

I remember walking past racks of them for $80 and on occasion they would throw in a 400 pack of ammo.
