Coastal Bend Range Day planning

Ok guys the holidays are over so I think it's time to start planning the next range day. Anybody feel free to pop in and suggest a range, dates, etc. Once we have a few dates thrown out I can put up a poll if need be. I y'all wanna have it in Rockport again I can talk to Tony, if y'all wanna do it in Corpus or somewhere else that's cool as well. Let's get some ideas flowing around so we can make it happen.

More than fine but if that's the case this is where you Corpus guys gotta step up because I don't know enough about the ranges there to know which ones would be good and open to having a group. Any ideas?

Nichols has a new indoor range. No ideas on pricing or group size they can accommodate.

Pricing is $10 per gun, no time limit.

Hours IIRC are 9am-6pm.

First time I went there, I took ten guns.......he gave me a break and only charged me $60.00..It was also the last time I went there.

His place, his business, I have no problem with what he charges. But I never only take one or two guns to the range.

I have not shot there since last year some time but I do live somewhat close. Don't know when I can drop by and talk to Mr Starry. I have not shot at Nicols range. Is that an option since starry range charges $10/gun.

If you were able to swing by that would be great, basically just to see if they'd be cool with it and of so if any specific date would work better for them etc. this is just a planning thread, would love to get more people out this time.

Ran into a guy a week ago that said they do 3 gun comp. at Starry? Any info? Range days are cool, but I would be interested in checking a 3 gun match.

I have heard about the 3 gun at starrys but don't know the schedule. Starry Range has shooting areas than just the pistol and rifle range.

So here is my thoughts. Always wanted to go to starry, but not for 10 bucks a gun or after the range ranger stories I've heard.
The sharp shooter is cramped.
Too many no one is a pistol rifle club member...

Nichols did a good job on his range. Shot there once. Plenty of room for a few folks.
