I have some knives that I'll be listing for sale soon. I have 2 Cold Steel push daggers that I've had for a long time and I don't know much about them. Both are made in Japan and I was told that they are from the early or mid 1980's. I'm hoping someone can give some info and an estimate of the values. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The first one is an Urban Pal. 3 inches overall with a 1 3/4 inch blade. The sheath can be worn on a belt or used as a neck knife. It still snaps but the outer piece of the snap is missing.

Next is an Urban Skinner. 5 inches overall with a 3 inch blade, someone removed the Cold Steel Inc logo from the rubber handle or it has been worn off. It has it's original sheath with a pocket/belt clip.

They're both made with AUS8A steel, which is similar to 440B. It's relatively cheap and easy to machine, so you find it on a lot of knives, particularly from Japan. Easy to sharpen, but doesn't hold an edge like better tool steels.

when did these get listed? I am interested in the urban skinner if it is still available... had an original, and believe it or not... I actually wore it out... haven't seen one in years. My only question is if it is secure in the sheath...? Mine was used so much that I could sit in a recliner and the krayton handle would pull it right out and i would be sitting on an unsheathed blade from time to time. I think I would go $50 on it if the sheath is in good condition if available. Let me know.
    thanks
