This animation is worth a look.
It's CG but well done and shows a complete bit by bit view of a Colt 1911 assembly.

Neat video sir! Just curious but, are you a 1911 fan as well? I absolutely love the guns and still need to buy one.
SAAAAAAVE your money until you can get a Nighthawk Custom.
That's not what you told me a week or 2 ago when you said you were going to have to buy a Mk23. None of them are as accurate as the P9S though, but that's probably because THAT barrel doesn't move at all (fixed).

I'm with HK on the subject of cost. 1000 bucks is the limit for me on a handgun purchase. That might sound cheap to some of you but I can't justify anything over that. So much is available for less than a grand that I could own and shoot hundreds of them before getting tired of the available variety.
Is “Kimber”still using CAST parts in their 1911’s?Dude, Ya'll know I'm a Kimber man, but the Nighthawk is new level.
Travis, if your going high end, you got to have the Mark 23. It would be perfect for your HK addiction.
That wins the internet prize for the day.Nothing to add....just wanted to get the oldest one before whatshisname got here.....
