So that when Colt goes bankrupt after losing it's lucrative military contract we can point at this and say this is the reason. They don't understand the market at all. I'd pay 500 for a QUALITY 22 revolver.. but for a grand I can get all sorts of neat toys. Hell just in the revolver world you can get some pretty nice hardware for a grand.
