Hello, I have been lurking for a while, but decided to join the madness. I have a question for all you gun experts. Is this gun pretty reliable with most .22LR ammo? It's a third gen Colt Woodsman I'm thinking about getting.

It should handle just about any .22 ammo that's out there, but having said that, it's always a good idea to try some different brands in it. I have a couple of High Standard target pistols that will not feed CCI std velocity stuff. They do fine with Aguila, Remington and Federal.

    Nice pistol.

Any 2nd or 3rd series Woodsman is safe for hi-velocity 22LR ammo. But, they are at their best with standard velocity target ammo.

should be a great purchase, the woodsman is a fantastic pistol

should feed std velocity stuff fine, but being .22 lr, shoot a couple different brands and find out what it likes and stick to that
