Since there is a vast array of know it alls, oops I mean knowledge on here. Is there an off the shelf way/ program (preferably cheap, like less than $5.00) to allow people to enter info on a tablet or phone and then import that into an excel sheet or something similar? The lodge does a chili cook off and car show fundraiser every year, and if we could eliminate some of the double work, it would be nice.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Lynx Defense

There is an Android (and iOS) version of Excel that you can run on your tablet. You can enter the info directly into the spreadsheet from your tablet and then save the file to Dropbox or some other cloud drive, you can access it from your PC, Mac, or other phone/tablet. Or you can save it locally on the tablet and email it to whoever needs the information.

    This.
I use it on my phone and tablet.
    No glitches. No crashes.

If you have cloud storage (O365, Google docs), and wireless or Wifi access, you can all edit the same doc.

O365 allows simultaneous access, not sure about GD

Google docs allows for simultaneous editing and access. Free too. And for spreadsheets, it’s called Sheets as mentioned above. You can also copy paste the data into Excel and it will retain most of the formatting. I think you can export it too but forgot.

Google sheets & docs is super easy.

No more wondering if you’re working on the latest version of a file, because it’s always the latest version.

And you can control access: some folks can edit, others only view.

Another nice thing about google sheets/docs:
    They’re device-agnostic.
Users can access and edit on a Mac, PC, any smartphone, or literally anything with a web browser.

Sumbeech. Nobody mentioned the google sheets. Gotta have access to the internets on the devices, I think.

It doesn’t care what race your handheld is.
