Active duty military the CHL application is $0. My CHL class $120 & fingerprints $10.

On a side note; kind of a bummer cannot have CCW on a military installation. It would be nice to have my conceal/secure pistol in my POV. I live off Post.

I know what you mean. I have heard rumors about Ft. Hood having a program for CHL's to log in their firearms and that they can carry while hunting on parts of the base... but that is only a rumor.
