I'd like to know why details are limited... like, what caused officers to pursue the perp? Seems like that would be a simple detail to reveal. Why withhold it?

Been through Eden many times on my way to San Angelo. Quiet place and you wouldn't expect something like this to happen there

My son-in-law is an LT with the Wylie PD. My daughter put a sign on the inside door to their garage that reads...Be careful, make it home safe. On the entry side, she wrote....you can relax now, your home.

They don't talk much about the officers who gave their life to keep us safe and they always wear a black strip over their badge when it does happen. They know it can happen to Randy at any giver time.
