That's what the FBI did with the Michigan Governor Widmer fake kidnapping attempt. It was all set up by the FBI. And the same Special Agent In Charge for the Detroit office that oversaw that disaster was then promoted and sent to manage the D.C. FBI office during the January 6th Capitol incursion. If they "stormed" local election officials in local jurisdictions then they could have stopped that shit there.
